This week, 6YL students presented their Visual Arts Exhibition as part of their IBDP. Students worked very hard to put up this exhibition after these atypical years in which studio time was very limited due to the circumstances.
They selected pieces that show evidence of their creativity, technical accomplishment durting the visual arts course and an understanding of the use of materials, ideas and practices to realize their intentions. Students also evidence the decision-making process that underpins selecting a connected and cohesive body of work for an audience in the form of a curatorial rationale that can be found beside their display.
This exhibition celebrates the hard work and reflective capacity of our students.
