Remembrance Day service at the British Cemetery

El martes 11 de noviembre, representantes de nuestro Colegio asistieron al servicio del Remembrance Day en el Cementerio Británico. Los Senior Prefects y los miembros del Junior School Council  se unieron al Principal y a los Heads de Junior y Senior para rendir homenaje a quienes dieron su vida en las guerras.

Como parte de la ceremonia, uno de nuestros Prefects realizó una emotiva lectura del poema “For the Fallen” de Robert Laurence Binyon:

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them”.

Este es un evento anual en el cual participamos; además, se guardó un minuto de silencio a las 11 de la mañana en varias secciones del Colegio.
