Prep walk around

As part of our unit of inquiry students explored our local neighborhood to learn how people contribute to the community. During the walk, they visited places such as a church, butcher’s, bakery, hardware store and plant shop, where they met workers and learned about the services they provide.

This was an exciting and engaging activity that helped students connect their learning to real-life contexts.
