Uniform
At The British Schools everyone is encouraged to take pride in their personal appearance. Wearing the correct uniform in a smart and presentable way, with neatly groomed hair – short hair for boys and long hair tied back for girls - is considered to encourage enthusiastic and professional, attitudes and support positive behaviour. The School uniform also gives students a sense of belonging, sets an appropriate tone and creates an identity for the School in the Community.

Lost Property
Lost Property is located opposite the First Aid Room/Infirmary on the ground floor of the East Wing in Junior. Items that are misplaced are collected by School staff and taken to Lost Property. Students are welcome to visit during morning breaks to check whether any lost belongings have been handed in.
Parents may also visit Lost Property on Fridays from 8:15am to 8:45am (access via the Corner Gate, Máximo Tajes 6441) to look for their children's belongings.
When an item is entered into Lost Property, it is classified and added to our inventory system. The inventory is displayed outside the Lost Property office. In addition, parents receive a weekly automated email detailing any items registered under their child's name.
Please note that items not collected within 30 days of being found will be donated to the organisations the School supports.
Lunch packs, water bottles and food containers (tuppers) are not entered into the Lost Property system. These items are placed on the shelves outside the Lost Property office and may be collected at any time during the week. Any unclaimed items remaining at the end of the week will be discarded due to sanitary concerns.

You can help reduce the amount of lost property by ensuring that all uniform items and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's full name and both surnames.
School Shop & Boomerang
Items of the School uniform may be purchased at the School Shop which is located opposite the Junior Main Entrance on Máximo Tajes or in Boomerang store, Costa Rica 1665
