PYP workshop

We were delighted to welcome our parent community to a special PYP workshop. This engaging session offered valuable insights into how parents can support their children throughout their learning journey, both at home and in partnership with our School.
Grounded in our framework of High-Quality Learning and Teaching, the workshop gave families a deeper understanding of how the Primary Years Programme (PYP) nurtures student agency, inquiry, and growth from early years through to the PYP Exhibition. Families discovered the learning journey from Pre-Kinder to the culminating PYP Exhibition, highlighting the evolving skills, knowledge, and learner attributes developed along the way. The workshop began with a carefully designed provocation, sparking meaningful dialogue and inviting parents to reflect on the nature of learning. This thoughtful entry point opened up deeper conversations around educational practices, PYP pedagogy, and how inquiry-based learning looks and feels in the classroom.
Participants, we hope, left with practical strategies and tools to support and leverage their children’s learning at home, and a stronger sense of how we can grow as a community of lifelong learners, together. Thank you to all the parents who participated and contributed to the rich, reflective experience. Your partnership continues to make a powerful impact on our learning community.
