Walk Around the School

Recently, we had an incredible activity that truly highlighted the curiosity and enthusiasm of our young learners—the "Walk Around the School" event. This special occasion provided our children with a unique opportunity to act as guides and share their favourite and most significant places within the School environment.
During the walk, our children proudly led a special guest through various areas, showcasing spaces that hold special meaning for them.
This activity was a moment of inquiry, exploration, and self-expression. The children engaged actively by asking questions, sharing their knowledge, and demonstrating their understanding of the School’s different learning spaces. It empowered them to take ownership of their environment and to see themselves as active participants in their learning journey.
Listening to the children’s voices during this activity reminded us of the importance of valuing their perspectives. Their insights helped us to understand what makes the School a welcoming and inspiring place for them. It also encouraged us to adapt and enrich our learning spaces to better meet their needs and interests.
Overall, the "Walk Around the School" was a memorable experience that fostered confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging among our young learners. It emphasized the importance of making our big school a true part of their ongoing discovery and growth.
